I use a variety of materials including paper, acrylic paint, paper clay, charcoal pencils and stitch. My interest has always been the depiction of the figure, but this morphed into something more abstract in terms of shapes and forms within my collages. Since the Pandemic hit in 2020, the figure began to re-emerge unexpectedly within my work, particularly in the 'Socially Distanced' series - it manifested itself and conjured feelings of solitary confinement within our homes during lockdown. It allowed me explore spontaneity by creating new worlds of my own: new textures, layers, colours and new shapes - creating my own internal landscapes to explore, whilst the external landscape remained out of bounds.

I have exhibited at The Theatre in Chipping Norton as well as during Oxfordshire Artweeks.
